I recently visited the Texas Rose restaurant and was thoroughly impressed! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was buzzing with energy and excitement. The restaurant boasts a unique setup, offering a vibrant mix of dining and entertainment. While I didn't have the opportunity to sample the food myself, the plates I saw passing by looked absolutely delicious and plentiful, and the restaurant was packed with happy diners. What truly set the Texas Rose apart was the exceptional service. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming, contributing to the overall positive experience. The most intriguing aspect of the Texas Rose is its collection of gaming machines. These machines, reminiscent of those found in arcades or entertainment centers, provided a unique and engaging diversion. While I'm unsure of the exact nature of the games, they certainly added an element of fun and excitement to the atmosphere. The combination of excellent service, a lively atmosphere, and the unique gaming experience makes the Texas Rose a must-visit. I'm giving it a well-deserved five stars and look forward to returning to try the food!
I was looking for truck parking due to Loves being full and came across this bar / restaurant. Another operator told me they had some great food and he was not lieing. I had the butterfly shrimp, frys, salad, texas toast and cheesecake and it was great. It comes with a semi parking spot when you get food. Cant wait to come back. Thanks miss T.
It's been a long while since I last visit but when I did, everyone was friendly n nice. My mom comes there with her former client maybe twice a month to get him out they are so generous to him and my mom on each visit Mr Washington loves his visit there. The menu is awesome.
This place has the feeling of Cheers. I've driven by this place for over twenty years and finally stopped by about a year ago. Kind of a dive inside, but the food is EXCELLENT, the people are WONDERFUL and diverse in nearly every way, and the service is top notch. We got t-bone steaks with ALL the standard fixings, large long Island teas, and a generous tip was under 50 for the both of us. My wife and I are regulars now and the only thing I would change is how long I waited to go in the first place.
The food was good. Like the old texas feel here. There is permit semi truck parking in back.

Old time atmosphere, great food, and a laid-back private club that is open to everyone. The staff and customers were so friendly, I felt like I was home. Thanks Guys
I've been here a few times, and the food is amazing. I've never had a baked potato like here, one that is actually cooked and made properly. It goes really well with the steaks, steaks being delicious themselves. I've tried a BLT today and I loved it. I'm going to recommend something next time I go, and if they make it then it will 100% be my #1 go to restaurant. Now this is a bar, and I believe my friend called it a dive bar, alcohol is here and they have such good choices too from beer to liquor. They have a section for slot machines so you can kill time waiting for your food, they also have a game room with pool table and dart and stuff to enjoy. This isn't a place for younger people to go and party all night, but for older people to come a relax and enjoy a beer or 20, chat with random people and quickly make new friends. One thing I don't like about it is the fact people smoke inside, and I'm completely fine with it, I'll put up with it, but sometimes I gotta get food to go. I know this is how this bar and bars similar to this (dive bars as my friend called it) I understand this is how they're run, but I personally don't like the smoke. BUTT This place is definitely worth it to make me ignore the smoke for an hour or 2. Enjoying the time, watching others hang out and chat, being goofy and telling stories. Also, careful asking for Jeff. It's a very common name there.
